Flower: White rounded clusters
Leaves: alternately arranged, fern-like, divided into blunt-toothed or lobed leaflets 1/3-3 ½ inches long
Fruit/Seed: dry brown seed ½ to 1 inch long that splits in 2 when ripe, persists through the winter, densely covered in hairs
Height: 1 ½ - 3 feet
Flowering: May - June
Habitat: Woods
