Flower: White elongated clusters
Leaves: Sterile plants have 1 leaf; fertile plants have 2 or occasionally 3 leaves of unequal size, heart-shaped bases and pointed tips, up to 3 inches long and 2 inches wide, feint stripes and parallel veins along the length of the leaf, toothless and hairless, main stem zig-zags between alternately attached leaves.
Fruit/Seed: berry, green maturing to speckled red
Height: 26 inches
Flowering: May - June
Habitat: Upland woods, clearings
