Flower: White simple shaped, 5 petals
Leaves: bright green, paddle or spatula shaped, 1/8-3/16 inch wide by ¼-¾ inch long, upper surface covered with red sticky tipped glandular hairs, underside smooth and green, leaf stalks are smooth
Fruit/Seed: oval capsule less than 1/8 inch long
Height: 2-8 inches
Flowering: July - August
Habitat: bogs, fens, seeps, shallow water
Other: This is a carnivorous plant that traps and digests insects on its sticky leaves.
