Description ²

• Flower: White bell shaped, 5 petals
• Leaves: tiny, well-spaced teeth around edges, pointed tips, slightly rough around edges and along midrib on underside from tiny hooked hairs, have little or no leaf stalk
• Fruit/Seed: Globe shaped, ribbed capsule, 1/6 inch long with 3 sections
• Height: 6-36 inches
• Flowering: June - August
• Habitat: wet meadows, swamps, along shores
