Pollinator Week 2021 Bioblitz

Hello Pollinator Week Bioblitz Participants!

Thank you for signing up for our iNaturalist project! We're so happy to have you participate in this Pollinator Week event.

Did you know that Pollinator Week 2021 (June 21-27) is the fifteenth consecutive year of bringing greater awareness to the critically important issue of pollinator conservation since Pollinator Partnership (P2) founded the initiative in 2007? Similar to last year, Pollinator Week will facilitate a number of virtual and socially distant events with people across the planet pledging to continue to promote pollinator health and well-being.

This iNaturalist Bioblitz project is being organized by the North American Pollinator Partnership Campaign's Urban Pollinator Task Force in collaboration with the North American Collaboration Task Force. We attempted to make this project as inclusive as possible, while also allowing observations to auto-populate. Sorry if we left out one of your favorite pollinator taxa! But, our goal is to try to curate data generated from this event. So, out of necessity, we've filtered some taxonomic groups out.

We're especially interested in learning more about the diversity and distribution of pollinators and the floral resources that support them. If you see a pollinator on a flower, snap a photo and upload. It's as simple as that. Happy Pollinator Week!

Best wishes,
