Yes, this was my birthday present to myself - another obsession! But seriously, I spend weeks and months here in Charlotte County, Florida, and do some of my best iNat-ting here, so why not? Fun! I'd love to go to Florida for some inaturalist nerding out some time. I've been to one part of it long ago but not that part. Then again i'd go look at a plant and an alligator would eat me

Just added mine! My parents moved down there a few years ago, so I get a few days of observations in every year. So much going on there!
Agreed! Thanks for joining. I come here a lot, too, because of elderly family, but they've lived here for years, so we've come to know a lot of the range of habitats.
I joined, but don't yet have observations. It is one of the few counties in Florida that I have yet to iNat.
@gyrrlfalcon it sounds like you need to plan an iNat event for there. I'm sure we can keep @charlie safe from the gators.

How about October? As you can see, I'm eager, but need advance warning to get the time away from the office.

I won't be here, but Peggy will be (except for the weekend of the 23rd of October when we are in Vegas for my mother's 90th)
