Marin whale-watching season nears without Point Reyes lookout.

The peak time to see migrating gray whales along the Marin County coast is approaching, but a popular viewing spot in Point Reyes won’t be accessible this year.

That’s because the Point Reyes Lighthouse viewpoint is still undergoing renovations and won’t be accessible until March, most likely.
