I have an interest in California's various chaparral ecosystems. Our family suffered a devastating fire in 2018 and it's been fascinating to see the land attempt to heal itself with the natives and animals coming back. I'm also learning to identify invasive and problematic plants as well. I also enjoy learning about Southern California's bird life, but don't have the photography skills or tools to capture my feathered friends in a high-quality format.
