I have been a nature/landscape photographer for 40+ years. I specialize in wildflowers, particularly Texas wildflowers, and have been the photographer for fourteen books and dozens of calendars. I have an ongoing project to publish a field guide to wildflowers of Big Bend National Park, but have been hampered the last three years by the historic drought the park is experiencing. I hope to get many of the flowers of Big Bend that I have photographed on this site in the coming months, and I welcome comments and corrections. If you would like to contribute images to the Big Bend field guide please let me know. I am also a cactus grower with more than 600 specimens in my collection, many of them native Texas cacti (seed grown, not from the wild).
