I grew up spending most of my time outdoors, and I love showing how curious and wonderful nature can be to children. Facebook groups and iNaturalist let me share my favorite items and species that I find with everyone, and I get so excited to share! It really lights up my day if I can find and document intriguing or unique specimens in nature.

I work full time and spend my 'spare' time hiking with my 6 year old and 4 year old daughters and incorporating the natural world around us in their education.
