I am a retired entomologist, Professor Emeritus, from the Ohio State University. My speciality is aphids and leafhoppers, especially leafhoppers in the genus Dalbulus. Along with my colleagues we discovered 8 new species in Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia. We described and named them including Dalbulus tripsacoides, D. quinquenotatus, D. guzmani, D. charlesi, D. gramalotes, D. chiapensis, D. cimmyti and D. ebberti.
