I am a member of the San Diego Chapter of CNPS. I like gardening with plants native to So. Calif. and Baja. I am a volunteer at Batiquitos Lagoon and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Botany Society. I started the Desert Lily Project on iNaturalist to collect observations of this enigmatic species. A large percentage of my observations are from hikes I take with Tom Chester, Nancy Accola, Jim Robert and others, and I have learned a great deal from them. Here is a link to the Desert Lily Fact Sheet that Tom and I put together: http://tchester.org/bd/species/agavaceae/hesperocallis_undulata_facts.html. My thanks go to everyone who helps identify my observations. I really appreciate it.
