I am interested in all things natural. I know native plants well, especially in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. I worked at Native Here Nursery (non-profit native plant nursery) for 13 years and currently work on vegetation management projects on Albany Hill. I also run a volunteer group that does stewardship and environmental education projects on Albany Hill, the little hill on the East Bay shoreline.

I know many birds as well, having started bird identification in my pre-teen years. I am not so good with waterfowl, however.

I know many herps as well.
