After a career in microelectronics, I became a volunteer docent at Seymour Marine Discovery Center, Santa Cruz California for 2 years, 2017-2018. Now I'm a volunteer at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.
I use iNat to learn about and keep track of all the amazing living things I have seen in Asia, Europe, and North America.
When I'm in a desert, on a mountain, on a beach or in a forest I feel a burning curiosity! I need to learn about the local plants and animals!
iPhone 8 photography is great for recording and sharing these beautiful living things. Identifying species is challenging and rewarding. iNat allows me a glimpse into the guts of real biological science. I want to encourage more of my friends to use iNat!
