The AmScope MD35 microscope camera arrived on Friday, but we picked it up today. The lens fit perfectly into the lens slot into my 1960's Wolfe Wetzlar Nr. 1280 microscope I inherited from my grandfather which has a 23mm lens. I will tell you how to unpack the camera.

Next, I had to open the blue downloader disk. After open your D drive which contains your disk and open "autorun":

Then after opening it, click on "Install Application:

After installing your new app, find it by searching amscope in you computer. You should find this:

Open it, and you should find the AmScope program:

CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully opened the Amscope program, and are able to take pictures with your new camera. Good luck!

Welcome to Microscopic Microbes! Over the last few days, the project has had a big increase in members, and many new observations have been added! Thank you to all of you who have participated, especially @biohexx1.

Many microorganisms are hard to ID by species, so if anyone knows an ID for a observation in this project that cannot get a place in the Most Observed Species column, give it an ID!

Project update! The project times have been updates until the 27 December so more observations can be added to the project and give people more time if they are unable to join at the time or go on a nature walk due to Christmas celebrations. Good job, everyone, good job on observations and keep up the good work! Merry Christmas!

Thank you for participating in iNaturalist in the winter holidays! This project has unfortunately come to an end, and the results of the project will be posted on 30 December, 2015 to let the system process all of the observations added to this project.
