Trails and Variety
I have been "auditioning" new trails for a regular survey, to complement the one I do at Edgewood. Laurelwood, Windy Hill, Purisima Redwoods, and Thornewood. I have been looking with an eye to many taxa, not just birds.

I forgot to add my criteria:
1) along my commute route
2) somehow an effective round trip
3) with a variety of habitats
4) under-visited by birders and others currently
5) with some elements of hiking rigor
