Found in the low intertidal attached to cobbled substrate in small clusters. Found during a 0.3m tide on a sheltered bay.

Found in a tidepool located in the high intertidal on a moderately wave exposed island. Found attached to the rocky wall in a bed with other similar algae and low diversity.

Rad seaweed found in the low intertidal on cobbled substrate. Found in a surge channel with high exposure and high diversity. Large numbers of kelps around.

Description: Golden brown, rubbery & smooth, no midrib, some holes and bleach patches

Epilithic.

PV001. Tide: 0.3. Lower intertidal, wave exposure. Found in think mats attached to rocks. Filamentous, spongy, green. Some bleaching at the tips

PV003. Tide: 04 m. High intertidal. Green filamentous. Attached to rock. Soft to touch

PV011. Tide: 0.3m. Low intertidal, high on a rock in a surge channel. Greenish brown. When squished it breaks a part. Slimy inside.

PV004. Habitat: High intertidal, tide pool, overcast
Notes: Thin blade, bright green, smooth. Found in tide pool where the species flourished.
Tide: 0.2 m
