Favoritos de sapienshane

A nivicolous species, found at about 7200 feet in an area with Lodgepole Pine and Red Fir trees.

First three photos are from the field. Last photo is several days later, after collecting and bringing it home.

The specimen was sent to @edvin_johannesen in Norway who did the microscopy and confirmed the ID. Many thanks to him for his expert assistance!

This species has been very rarely recorded, only a few dozen worldwide.
This is the first record of this species on iNat.
