I'm a volunteer Docent Naturalist for Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space District. I'm especially interested in plants, lichens, birds, and watersheds. My interest in watersheds came from working for a local water utility before retiring. My interest in lichens was lit when I took a lichen class at Cal Poly Humboldt where I earned my botany degree. And I was simply born with an affinity for plants and birds.
