***Note: I am doing a "Bug Year" in 2023, trying to document 1,500 research grade Arthropod species (I was interviewed on CBC radio about this attempt: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-80-afternoon-drive/clip/15991630-a-bug-year). The "research grade" bit is a tall task and I would appreciate any identification help. I'm an "enthusiastic amateur" naturalist living in LaSalle, Ontario. I love reading books and the natural world. There's barely a creature that won't catch my attention at time or another, but over the years, I'd say I've focused on moths, birds, fungi, snakes, dragonflies, and spiders. I do feel a beetle bug coming on, though :-)
