City Nature Challenge 2019: Greater Manchester's Boletim

Plans are firming up for the 2019 City Nature Challenge, and Greater Manchester will be competing with cities across the globe to get out and about spotting wildlife. Here in the UK, Bristol and Bath, and London are coming back for their second year in the challenge, but are being joined by a number of other cities. Last night saw the first of our City Nature Challenge preparation events as Curator Rachel Webster chatted to museum visitors. We were promoting the City Nature Challenge in April, and showing people how easy iNaturalist is to use, especially for families who haven't tried wildlife recording before. There was a lot of praise for how intuitive the app is, and for functions like the identification AI.
