Born 1966 in Bolzano (Italy), I obtained in 1991 a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Parma with a thesis on " Ecophysiology of the autumn migration of the Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) in mainland Italy ." In 1992, I won a PhD in Animal Biology at the University of Pisa (" Stable and transient components of a bird community of the Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany .") In 1996 I won a scholarship to the research project " Ecophysiology and phenology of migration - Ecology of wetlands " at the National Institute for Wildlife . In 1997 I became "Technician of Vertebrate Zoology and Scientific Museology " at the Tridentine Museum of Natural Sciences ( MTSN ) of Trento and here I worked for two years doing researches and organizing exhibitions . From 2001 to 2008 I worked full-time at the MTSN , still dealing with research and curating exhibitions. Since 2008 I work as science communicator about biodiversity and ecology at the MUSE , the new Science Museum of Trento.
