I'm a senior at Montgomery High School and I plan to study marine biology at Texas A&M University at Galveston. I'm currently a youth volunteer at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito and a TeenNat Leader at Pepperwood Preserve.

I have wanted to be a scientist from a very young age. My main interests are in marine biology and ocean conservation, though I am utterly fascinated by every form of life. I particularly love plants and...well, everything.

I recently discovered environmental education and I'd like to integrate that into a research career as well.

I'm an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate, and I'm researching anthropogenic eutrophication of Monterey Bay for my extended essay.

I also started the Youth Watershed Network to get kids involved with local creek conservation in Sonoma County.
