I am a birder and naturalist. I started birding in 1966, the rest came later. I live on Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia. I lived in Quebec for 13 years where I studied a working sand quarry and before that resided in Nottingham, UK where I had fifteen years as the wildlife warden at Colwick country park. I've done guiding and lectures in the past, now I get out into the field every day.
