Além do desmatamento desenfreado de nossas florestas e do uso intensivo de defensivos agrícolas, outro problema, oculto, que os insetos enfrentam é a ignorância cultural sobre eles. A grande maioria das pessoas comuns no Brasil não têm interesse em entendê-los e coexistir com eles, e apenas os esmagam. As pessoas têm medo do que não conhecem e matam o que temem. Os insetos compõem um dos 9 suportes de vida na Terra, apesar disso, continuamos a destruí-los. A educação ambiental é uma das maiores armas que podemos ter. E a preservação de insetos começa em seu próprio quintal. É nisso que eu acredito!
