The New York City area has A LOT to offer.

Some of my favorite locations for identifying both fauna and flora are Fort Tilden, Natural Area/North Forty of Floyd Bennett Field, Marine Park/Plumb Beach Salt Marsh, Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, and the shores of Rockaway Beach and Breezy Point.

Strong advocate for preserving native plants and rehabilitating areas that are losing ground to the onslaught of invasive species that continue to plague our native ecosystems each and every day. I am not an observer or seeker of ONLY rare plants and wildlife. From the Common Milkweed to Houghton's Goldenrod, everything is fair game to me! Shoot me a message if you ever desire someone to observe with! I ONLY identify flora that is NATIVE to the NYC area unless I am in a different state/region.
