I photograph the beauty and complexities of the natural world documenting species and their fragile ecosystems before they are lost. Much of my photographic work is produced in the Ecuadorian Amazon working with biologists, in an area that is known to be one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, located in the Yasuni Biosphere Reserve. My photographic work is published regularly in books, scientific publications, magazines, online, and is in the hands of collectors. My mission is to promote conservation of the natural world.

The photos you see listed on my iNaturalist account are iPhone photos unless you see my copyright. You will also see some of my photos under the account of mactadpole, Shawn McCracken, as he is the herpetologist who encountered the frogs that have been posted. I currently live in Ecuador and focus on my art and photography while working on conservation projects.
