I am a fisheries research scientist working to inform the conservation of native freshwater fishes across North America. I also study the effects of non-native and invasive species on aquatic ecosystems. One of my key research interests is the diversity and conservation of the black basses (genus Micropterus).

My hobbies include fishing (conventional and fly gear), kayaking, and photography.
