I'm a historian and philosopher of science who works on phylogenetics & taxonomy at University of Idaho. I also teach environmental philosophy. For some years I was affiliated with Ichs & Herps at the National Museum of Natural History, and Sam Sweet (UCSB) and Brian Hinds (fundad) introduced me to herping. I have also learned from Jeremy Jacobs (USNM) and Justin Lee (UMD, USNM) but I am still very much an amateur. I'm excited about the potential of Citizen Science to aid researchers and to engage people with the natural world.
