Natural history matches the location of the specimen captured as epibenthic, common in docks and coast (Oman 2012).

Species ID given based on the shape of the paragnaths. in everted pharynx, being comb like rather than conical, and not as transversally elongated as in P. monterea; 4 tentacular cirri on the peristomium.

Identified based on Hormiga (1994). Couldn't get apophysis on pedipalp trochanter but tuft of 10 spines in the prolateral-ventral margin of legs I complements the similarity on shape and location of sclerites in cymbium and tegulum.
