Descrição

Common in Dracophyllum / Sporadanthus shrub / restiad bog.

I think this unnamed species corresponds to L. "Otira Gorge" recognised by Jerry Cooper. Eitherway this one seems to be the only Lichenomphalia on the islands. It is extremely common on Rekohu.

Descrição

Common on mataira (Myrsine chathamica) leaves. Infected leaves, discolouring, becoming chlorotic and eventually drying out and falling. I now understand why I have not seen this species often - it fruits in summer and infect leaves drop in early autumn. You need to look carefully for it and be in the right season to see it.

Descrição

Common in marginal turf overlying peaty sand exposed by receding water levels at "Hapupu Lagoons". Growing with Callitriche chathamensis, Limosella australis, Potamogeton cheesemanii, Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae, Myriophyllum triphyllum, Triglochin striata and Isolepis basilaris.

Crassula sinclairii is a very uncommon species on the island but of course it is also very small so easily overlooked. The only populations I know of are scattered along the shoreline of Te Whanga and at "Hapupu Lagoons".
