This bug was fairly large, about the size of a nickel or so. It was found in the water on the surface. It moves very quickly in fast, jerky motions. It seemed to be feeding on some small pieces of greenery floating in the water with two other bugs. They cannot be seen here, but the bug has two long legs and other shorter legs and created its own air bubble.

this was a nest found in a conifer tree near. there were no eggs, birds, or evidence of the bird species in the nest. The nest was not very high up in the tree, maybe five and a half feet off the ground

This recording was taken in the swamp as a large flock of bird flew across the swamp from one tree to another. earlier, I had noticed a hawk or other predatory bird flying near the tree and heard some warning calls. These calls were continued here.
