Living in the (now dry) creek bed, several surrounding

small frog, found not in the water, but in the squishy algae covered mud. Blended in very well, found about 3ft from water.

grassy area, only one in the area (surprising); fairly big and spiny, but not densely populated in that place, which was interesting

found on North Road trail, in a grassy area; blends in extremely well with surrounding environment; brown markings

growing out of a fungus, in a dead piece of wood(dead down): only one in surrounding area: (redwood canyon). "wavy" green leaves w/purple stem, almost jagged leaves (some dry and dead)

owl (small); brown grey, large eye orbits (yellow) indicative of nocturnal animal, top of Manzanita tree (six or seven surrounding trees (dense canopy)), tuft ears
