This spiderweb was found on a small shrub on Pepperwood preserve near the Hume Observatory. It was thin and very round with 2 layers. It was about 9 cm across.

This flower is extremely abundant throughout the Pepperwood area and the Hume Observatory. When in it's un-bloomed state, it is green with very small yellow balls.

This quail chick as found on the Goodman Homestead. It's large and small intestines were out of it's body, and it had only been dead for about 2 minutes. It's age was around 3 weeks, and it was 9 cm when straightened.

This dragonfly was found in the reedy grass near Pepperwood preserve's turtle pond. We picked it up and took some pictures with the macro lense from multiple angles, and noticed that its eyes (from bottom to top) go from black, to white, to brown.
