In the plot, there were seven small redwoods which included one that was dead and one that had a split trunk. The plot next to this one had a huge redwood that has died due to a fire. The redwoods in this plot was probably from it's sprouts.

The moss was on the rock on its highest points. That was the only rock that had moss in that plot. The area had a lot of shade because there were many redwoods.

Many cobalt milkweed beetles were able to be spotted near turtle pond. The beetles were calm for the most part, but when they are being moved, they would move constantly. The beetles could also fly.
