In the plot, there were two sedges about a meter away from each other. The edges of the sedge were sharp along the sides.

There was one bay that was in the plot and barely starting to sprout. It has been eaten and does not have much sunlight for it to grow.

The green plant was on close to the ground and spread out. It looked like the leaves were on a vine. That was the only green plant that was in that plot.

There were about three poison oaks in a row all next to each other. The poison oak was small and did not had many leaves.

In the plot, there were lichen on the loose branches in that area. The plot had partial shade and partial sunlight.

This type of lichen was everywhere on the branches of the trees. Lichen could be spotted everywhere around that area.

Many pennyroyals were found along the edge of the creek. They looked lavender purple and had something on it's tips.

Rattlesnake grass were everywhere along the top of the creek. They were hanging in groups or 2-3 on the tips of the stems.

Along the trail, there were many tanoaks. There were some that were already dead and this one was getting there.

Many cobalt milkweed beetles were able to be spotted near turtle pond. The beetles were calm for the most part, but when they are being moved, they would move constantly. The beetles could also fly.

A big black and yellow spider was near the pond resting on it's web.

The western fence lizard was on the dry dirt near double pond. From it's nose to tail, it is about 2 inches long.

The lizard was on a rock on Harding grass and dry land on the slope of a hill. Approximately 4 inches from nose to tail.

Spotted on a pond along the trail under a rock. The newt was approximately 3 1/2 inches long.
