I saw this very fluffy and fat pigeon at UTEP near the Rubin Center. Temperature was very high and pigeon was in the shade. Its scientific name is Columba livia domestica and it belongs to the Columbidae family. It was around 2 pm when I saw it.

This could have been a white tail deer or mule deer. I was not sure since it was caught by the cameras we put up at night near our camping site. It was about 50 degrees F and the exact time at which it was captured was 11:01 pm. Its scientific name is Odocoileus hemionus and come from the Cervidae family.

I saw this black bear on a hunting trip in Cloudcroft, NM around 2 pm. It was looking for food and by itself. Maybe 5 ft. tall. The scientific name is Ursus americanus amblyceps. FYI I did not shoot him.

The winecup plant was found in the UTEP garden and when I compared to other winecups around the country, the winecups found in the garden are much lighter and greener. The Mourning Dove's scientific name is Zenaida macroura and also has other common names such as the turtle dove. I found this dove in a tree while I was riding my bike back home from the gym around the west side of El Paso, TX. The reason I though it was a Mourning Dove is because of its slim features and brown and grey light colors.

I am not sure of the scientific name but it is a member of the genus Bombus, part of Apidae, one of the bee families.
