About 15” long. Beautiful juvenile.
I believe it is the same specimen I posted yesterday. Found about 15’ down the hallway from yesterday’s photo. Captured and released under a lemonade-berry (rhus) a couple hundred feet from the house.

What
Lagartixa-Italiana (Podarcis siculus)Observador
biesmanDescrição
These specimens were found about 20 hours apart. Based on location, size, and the dog hair, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are related. I was very surprised at the forked tail.

I was surprised and pleased to see this specimen today. Sightings of these indigenous species are quite rare at this location since the Italian wild lizards invaded.
