Cross mating pair of Bicolored frog (Clinotarsus curtipes) & Malabar gliding frog (Rhacophorus malabaricus)
This unusual phenomenon witnessed during my this season's visit to Amboli, one of the best location in western ghats, having vide range of biodiversity. While we were on search for the famous Rhaco (Malabar Gliding Frog), we came across this mating pair of Bi-coloured frog and Malabar Gliding Frog. Though the local experts say that, the mating will not result in any reproduction as the genes of both the species dont match.
