The water is still up over the bottom step! The birds have not liked that and it's been hard luring them over! But today they came and with that came a rescue!!! Rob did an awesome catch and took the bird off to our friends at Long Jetty Vet who will check her over! We were able to cut off one hook and a heavy lure but she had a few more hooks and line bound tightly around her neck and needed vet intervention! We must acknowledge our awesome team mates Toni, Terry & Brett from The Entrance Boat Shed even though their business has suffered again due to these high waters in the lake and they have had to stay closed, they have made sure we have got the fish to catch the injured birds and feed the one in care!!!
