Descrição

This frog was about the size of a penny and was found hopping around a large pond along with another 100 frogs. It has distinct markings around the face and the eyes. I believe this is a Sierran Tree Frog because it looks similar to another frog I previously identified.

Descrição

This frog was very small. I would say a little bit larger then the size of your thumbnail. It was a darker shade of green, it was able to camouflage very nicely with the green grass surrounding it. It was found near the pond. There were a lot of frogs, many were green but there were some that were different colors. I'd say there might've been a couple hundred of different kinds of frogs surrounding the pond.

Appeared in huge clumps next to a tree on the side of the road. It smelled like licorice next to the plant. It felt rather soft and did not stab me. The center fluff part was white and softer with the outer part being gray. I think the brown spike like objects may be meant to blow off in the wind because I saw part of the fluff gone from the plant, but it also could hook onto animals that pass by.

This spider was found in the grasses nearby a pond in its web. The belly of the spider is very colorful with colors of brown, black, yellow and orange. There are two different spiders shown in the same spot, one has a better view of the belly and the other has the view of the back. The head is furry. The total length includes the legs is around two inches. The legs are very decently long. I identified this due to the photos I found insectidentification.org that perfectly matched the photos I took.
