Saint Kitts and Nevis - iNaturalist World Tour
Saint Kitts and Nevis the 104th stop on the iNaturalist World Tour. @susanhewitt is by far the top observer and is pretty much singlehandedly holding down these islands with her annual visits. @susanhewitt's observations are mostly on Nevis along with top observers @cherrielee and @ktratboy. Other top observers such as @mlodinow, @ronald63, @narpus, and @jmeerman have observations on nearby St. Kitts. Its noteworthy that @gabriel217, in 10th place on the leaderboard, has only posted iNat observations from Saint Kitts and Nevis and doesn't have any observations posted from elsewhere.
The graph of observations per month pretty much just shows @susanhewitt's annual visits in June 2015, May 2016, Aoril 2017, April 2018, and March, 2019..
@adorantes, from the nearby Yucatan, is the top identifier by far and leads in plant, bird, and arachnid IDs. Thanks to other top identifiers such as @kitty12, @ehabes, @rajibmaulick, and @chrisharpe
What can we do to get more people in Saint Kitts and Nevis using iNaturalist? Please share your thoughts below or on this forum thread.

Connect with St. Kitts and Nevis high school biology teachers and suggest iNaturalist as school science project. Resource materials for identification would probably need to be provided.
PS: I taught biology at Sandy Point High School for a couple of years in the 1970's but was mostly focused on Ag Science; too long ago to still have contacts there.
HI folks. Yes, I would also say try contacting the schools, especially the private schools. But as desertrat says, they would need resource materials to be provided.
Come to think of it, each of the two islands in the Federation of St Kitts & Nevis has a medical school, and there is also a veterinary school on St Kitts; those institutions also might be possibilities. The med and vet students might be persuaded to take a few pics when they are out and about.
You might perhaps also consider contacting the tourism offices in both islands, as Nevis certainly prides itself on its nature as a draw for tourists, hence the slogan "Nevis Naturally".
I have a good friend who is a retired biology teacher on Nevis, that's @nicolejohnson, however she is usually not very active on iNat, but might be able to make some suggestions.
Oh, and then there is Nevis Historical and Conservation Society, headquartered in Charlestown, Nevis. They might be interested, although most of their energy recently has been going into restoring and opening to the public the wooden house where Alexander Hamilton was born and lived till he was 8. (This is not the nearby impressive stone house previously thought to be his birthplace.)
I did publicly want to thank @adorantes. He has not only been wonderful in identifying so many of these observations, but he is also the person who first asked me a few years ago if I could start making some plant observations on Nevis. That is because he studies the coastal vegetation of the Yucatan, and he was interested in seeing how similar or different the Nevis flora is.
In return adorantes was nice enough to make a lot of seashell observations in the Yucatan for me, as I was also interested in that kind of comparison.
But BTW, it was not adorantes who made the most mammal IDs -- that was jwidness.
